FSA Emergency Commodity Assistance Program

Farmers with qualifying crops may benefit from the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program.  Producers are invited to join the Farm Service Agency (FSA) for an overview of the new Emergency Commodity Assistance Program (ECAP).

Through ECAP, FSA is issuing up to $10 billion in direct payments to eligible producers of eligible commodities for the 2024 crop year.  The program is to help mitigate the impacts of increased input costs and falling commodity prices.

The ECAP application period started on March 19th and runs through August 15th, 2025.

During the webinar, FSA staff will provide a program summary and overview to include covered commodities, producer eligibility, payment calculation information, application process, and frequently asked questions.

The Webinar is on April 17th at 2:00 pm Central Time.  You can register by following this link.
