Gallatin Woman Injured In Single Vehicle Crash

A Gallatin woman had moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 in Dekalb County Tuesday night.  State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 10:40 pm near the 54-mile-marker, when the 41-year-old woman was northbound and swerved to avoid a raccoon with her car.  She overcorrected, ran off the right side of the road, and struck a tree.  She was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
