Grand River Area Family YMCA Has NEW CEO

The Grand River Area Family YMCA has a new CEO.  Dan Henley comes to Chillicothe from Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Program Director Shawn Hurtgen says he brings more than 30 years of experience to the position.

Mississippi, Texas, Alabama – originally from Mississippi.

Henley is a graduate of Belhaven College and the University of Southern Mississippi, he has spent his career developing strong teams, strengthening communities, and advancing the Y’s mission through thoughtful leadership and operational excellence.

She says Henley is known for relationship building, data-driven decision making, and his belief that the heart of every YMCA is simple: greeting people with a smile, listening well, and creating a welcoming place for all.

Henley arrives at the Y today and will begin his new job on Monday.
