The quarterly meeting of the Grand River Historical Society will be held on October 21st. The meeting will be held at the Chillicothe Elks Lodge and will include a dinner and program.
The Dinner will begin at 6:30 pm and requires reservations. The cost is $18 per person.
The program will begin at 7:00 pm and is free to attend.
The Topic is “Inventions and Innovations in the Victorian Society.” The special guest from Iowa is Sarah Chrisman. She and her husband live full-time “back in time” in the Victorian era. Their home, their clothing, their transportation is all from that time period. This program is made possible, in part, due to the Missouri Humanities Council.
Reservations are not required for the program.
If you plan to attend the dinner, call or text Zelma at 660-247-2192. Texts are preferred.
