A two-vehicle crash south of Trenton late Wednesday night left a Lathrop man with moderate injuries. State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 11:47 pm on US 65, about 8 miles south of Trenton. An 18-year-old Lathrop man was northbound in a car, and a van driven by a 48-year-old man from New Jersey was southbound. The New Jersey man crossed the centerline and sideswiped the Lathrop man’s car. The Lathrop man was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment of moderate injuries. Neither driver was wearing a safety belt.
