An arrest and accident in the area counties are reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol.
A Gallatin resident had moderate injuries when the vehicle she was riding in crashed on 252nd Street, east of Gallatin. Twenty-five-year-old Jelexa D. Clevenger was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center following the crash at about 9:40 am Monday. State Troopers report she was a passenger in a car driven by 18-year-old Destiney Clevenger of Gallatin. The report states the vehicle was southbound and Destiney Clevenger lost control, ran off the west side of the road, and struck a tree. They were not wearing safety belts. Destiney Clevenger was not injured.
A St. Joseph man was arrested by State Troopers in Daviess County Monday evening. Twenty-seven-year-old Stetson Sony was arrested at about 9:15 pm for alleged DWI. He was taken to the Harrison County Law Enforcement Center on a 24-hour hold.
