One arrest and one injury accident are in the Missouri Highway Patrol report for the area counties.
At about 8:30 pm Wednesday in Chariton County, a 31-year-old man from Brunswick was southbound on Highway 5, headed towards Glasgow on a Motorcycle when he swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway and his bike overturned. He was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of minor injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.
Just before Noon in Daviess County, Troopers arrested 38-year-old Dustin P. Louks of Winston on a Cameron Traffic warrant. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the posting of bond.
