Holiday Train To Return To Chillicothe

The City of Chillicothe is once again excited to announce that the CPKC Holiday Train will make a stop in Chillicothe; this year it will be on Wednesday, November 26, the day before Thanksgiving.

The train is scheduled to arrive at approximately 2:45 pm on the CPKC tracks adjacent to the parking lot off Business 36 and Harvester Road.

Since its inception in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $26.1 million and 5.45 million pounds of food for local food banks.

Chillicothe and area communities are invited to the CPKC Holiday Train Program, which is scheduled to start at 3:00 pm and run for half an hour. Musical artists Smash Mouth and JJ Wilde will perform on the brightly decorated train stage.

Those attending the Holiday Train Event are asked to make a monetary donation or donate heart-healthy food items.  This year, those donations will  go to the House of Prayer here in Chillicothe.
