House Fire On 3rd Street

The Chillicothe Fire Department responded to a house fire Saturday morning.  The call came in at about 11:05 am for a fire at 29 3rd Street.  The fire crew arrived in two minutes to find the garage fully involved and heavy smoke coming from the roof and eaves.  The fire crew was on the scene for nearly three hours, and the house, garage, and a vehicle were a total loss.

The department used 15,000 gallons of water to put out the fire.  There was one resident evaluated on scene, but no other injuries.
