The railroad crossing on Jackson Street is closed for repairs. Street Superintendent Jeff Gillespie says the crossing closed at 11:00 Tuesday morning and will remain closed until all work is completed. The closure is expected to last the remainder of the week.
Residents can cross the railroad at 3rd Street or over the Polk Street bridge.
