Livingston County Fair Sale And Final Awards

The 60th Livingston County 4H and FFA Fair closed on Friday with the annual Premium Livestock Auction.  Fair Board President Jennifer Horton says a few awards were presented prior to the auction.  They include:

Supreme Showmam: 1st – Timothy Summers; 2nd – Farrah Lauhoff; 3rd – Kimber Woodworth; and 4th – Alyssa Harris. Herdsmanship awards to Carsyn O’Dell for the cattle barn, Grace Maberry for the goat and sheep barn; Chloe Wolf for the swine barn; and Elijah Conejo for the rabbit and poultry barn.

Horton also announced that to honor the 60th anniversary of the Livingston County Fair, the Fair Board is giving back to our exhibitors by waiving the 6% commission.

The sale of champions included 21 different species, followed by the premium action where 104 more exhibits were sold, ending the night with a total of $121,750 going back into the hands of Livingston County youth.
