The April 2026 report from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department includes activity for the first half of the month.
Incident Reports:
April 6th, deputies responded to the 5000 block of Route A for an unattended death investigation. The Livingston County Coroner’s Office responded to process the scene, and nothing further is pending at this time.
April 12th, deputies were called to Mooresville on a reported threat with a firearm. Investigation showed a verbal dispute took place, with one party exhibiting a firearm to another – causing fear of immediate injury and/or death. The report was submitted to the Prosecting Attorney’s Office.
April 13th, deputies responded to the “Third Street Bottoms” for a report of firearms discharged from a roadway. A man was found shooting a handgun from the roadway at some targets. The weapon was seized, and a report was submitted to the P.A.’s Office.
Arrests:
April 4th, 27-year-old Isaac Schwede of Indiana was arrested for traveling 102 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on US 36 near LIV 259. During the process of arrest and investigation, Schwede was determined to be likely under the influence of Marijuana. He was processed on charges of excessive speed and DWI-Drugs, and released after posting $250 cash bond.
April 6th, 34-year-old Mario Tellez-Calderon of Chillicothe, was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on a Clinton County traffic warrant. He was processed, posted bond, and released.
April 12th, 33-year-old Michael Dangelo of Mooresville was arrested in the 400 block of Jackson Street in Mooresville on warrants from Jasper County and Newton County. Dangelo was unable to post bonds was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center pending extradition.
