Man Who Fled From Police Arrested

A man who fled from police Monday morning was arrested later in the day.  The Chillicothe Police Department followed up on leads to locate the man.  In the afternoon, they were informed he was possibly illegally possessing a firearm.   The 34-year-old man was arrested in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street around 4:40 pm on a Randolph County warrant for alleged possession of a controlled substance, resisting/interfering with an arrest for a felony, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a dangerous felon.  The warrant carried no bond.  No firearm was discovered at that time.

Additional charges for resisting arrest for a felony are being sought through Livingston County. The man was processed and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center to await extradition.
