Memorial Day Weekend Holiday Travel Expectations

The first of the major summer travel holidays is the weekend, and the Missouri Highway Patrol will be out in force.  The Memorial Day Holiday usually means many people are on the road.  Sergeant Shane Hux from the Highway Patrol explains what we can expect.

Vehicles we haven’t seen on the road for a while, and slower traffic.

Hux says to be watching for the troopers as well.

All available troopers on duty.

If you are on the road and need assistance, call *55 on your cell phone or dial 911.  He reminds you to know where you are so assistance can arrive quickly.
