A three-vehicle crash in Mercer County Monday morning took the life of an Iowa woman and left a Princeton man The crash happened at about 7:25 am, as 34-year-old Bryant L Elder of Princeton was southbound. Dorsey was northbound and following a semi driven by Christopher Carr of Chillicothe. According to the report, Elder crossed the centerline and struck the semi and trailer on the passenger side, and then into the path of the Dorsey vehicle, resulting in a head-on collision. Elder’s vehicle went off the road and overturned.
Elder was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital and flown to Research Hospital in Kansas City.
Carr was not injured.
