Missouri Conservation Enforcement Actions

The Missouri Department of Conservation reports enforcement activities in the month of August in the area counties.

  • Carroll County Conservation Agent Corporal Marc Bagley responded to complaints of shooting from the roadway during a field trial in Carrol County. Two subjects were contacted and given warnings for permit violations.
  • Corporal Pryor contacted two individuals on Jet skis who had littered cans in the Grand River in Livingston County. He had also received a complaint from a bank fisherman about the individuals. The jet skis were not registered and multiple beer cans were littered. Enforcement action was taken.
  • Corporals Caleb Pryor and Josh Roller along with Agent Sweeney responded to Poosey Conservation area after nonresident squirrel hunters had become lost after dark. The hunters were located and given a ride back to their vehicle.
  • Grundy County Conservation Agent AJ Musche contacted a nonresident squirrel hunter in Daviess County who had harvested two raccoons without a nonresident furbearer license. Enforcement action was taken.
