Market Livestock exhibitors for the Missouri State Fair will be required to supply DNA hair follicle samples if they intend to sell the animal in the Missouri State Fair Sale of Champions.
Previous requirements of a nose print and blood sample will no longer be accepted by fair officials.
The State Fair website has provided instructions for the proper collection of the DNA Hair Follicile samples. 20-30 hairs that are properly collected will be required for each animal.
