The Guaranteed Maximum price to construct the new Chillicothe Police Department is $6,095,972. That is the price presented by Crossland Construction at Monday’s Chillicothe City Council Meeting. The Council accepted the price unanimously.
The Council then heard from Joey McLiney about the Bond sales and soft costs associated with financing the project. That total is $1,498,000.
After approving the proposed soft costs, the Council approved one add-in for the project. They have included the Sally Port to be constructed at a cost of $285,003.
That brings the total cost of construction to just over $7,878,000.
Construction is expected to begin as early as February 13th.
