08:26 a.m., Officers responded to the 1100 block of Polk St. where they arrested a woman on a child abuse investigation. She was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
08:51 a.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves St. for a report of a private property motor vehicle crash.
01:00 p.m., Officers conducted 8 arrests on separate child abuse/neglect cases. All 8 were transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
03:26 p.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Polk and Walnut St. for a report of a 2 vehicle crash. A female driver was issued a citation for failing to yield.
05:52 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves St. for a report of an assault. Officers arrived and the victim later declined to press charges.
11:05 p.m., Officers made contact with a female who was taken into protective custody. Officers applied for a 96-hour mental health warrant and she was later transported to a hospital.
