Chillicothe Firefighters responded to a report of illegal burning at 132 Henry Street Tuesday Afternoon. The call came in at about 3:10 pm and the fire crew arrived in three minutes to find a large pile of wood from a torn-down structure that was on fire. The owner was not aware of the city’s burning ordinance. The fire department used 2000 gallons of water and foam to put out the fire. They returned to service in about 30 minutes.
