The annual North Missouri Sportsman’s Alliance free Kids Fishing Derby will be June 13th at the pond at the old Baptist Home. Spokesman Steve Shoot says they are assisted by two organizations this year.
Working with MDC and Quail Forever.
This year’s event will start with registration at about 8:30, and fishing from 9:00 am to Noon. Each child will receive something at registration, and they will sign up for the drawings.
Giving away a record $2,000 in items.
There will also be a meal provided for all of the kids and volunteers.
