Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Sixty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.

Officers handled several harassment complaints, including reports of cyberstalking and ongoing social media harassment. One reporting party was provided information about obtaining a protection order.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Wise Street early Tuesday morning. They assisted a woman and two children with locating shelter accommodations. The incident was classified as a domestic.

Other calls included traffic stops for expired registration and a lane violation, a welfare check that resulted in a woman being transported to a hospital for evaluation, and reports of property damage at a Washington Street business.

Police also checked on a vehicle reported driving on the runway at the Chillicothe Municipal Airport, investigated a report of an unauthorized check tied to a stolen phone, and responded to debris blocking northbound traffic on Washington Street.
