Ordinance Revises City Code For Boards And Commissions

A Chillicothe City ordinance that governs the make-up and requirements for city boards and commissions was revised at the Chillicothe City Council meeting.  City Administrator Roze Frampton says there were changes in who could serve.

Residency requirements. 

The requirement had been two years as a resident of Chillicothe.  That was changed to one year.

They also made a change that affected two boards.

Removed the personnel sections from the Airport and Parks Board duties.

The personnel responsibilities are handled by City Council.
