The conversion of two tennis courts at Simpson Park into pickleball courts is ready to begin as the Chillicothe City Council approved the contract with Gerald Perry Tennis Company to do the work. Parks Director Josh Norris says the project is possible with the ARPA funds from the city and Livingston County.
Norris says a drainage issue will be addressed prior to the conversion.
Work could start as early as the end of August.
