Assault and kidnapping charges are filed against a Polo man following an investigation by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. Joshua S. Clevenger is charged with alleged domestic assault, armed criminal action, and kidnapping. The charges resulted from an incident alleged to have occurred on March 25th that included the victim allegedly stabbed in the knee, using a deadly weapon, and holding her against her will.
Clevenger was arrested Tuesday on a warrant at the Caldwell County Detention Center, where he is held with no bond allowed.
Arraignment is scheduled for Thursday before Judge Jason Kanoy.
