Promotions and Hiring In Chillicothe City Council Executive Session

The Chillicothe City Council executive session included several personnel items.

For the Chillicothe Police Department, the city approved hiring Jared Kaler as a full-time police officer at $22.55 per hour, pending results of the pre-employment physical.  He is scheduled to start May 7^th.

For the Chillicothe Fire Department:

The council approved promoting

Josh Kelly to Lieutenant/Paramedic, at $24.33 an hour

William (Billy) Cummings to Engineer/Paramedic, at $22.89 an hour

Tim Danner to Engineer/Paramedic, at $22.89 an hour

Justin Bachman from On Call Firefighter to a Full-time Firefighter/EMT, at $18.70 an hour

They also hired Drake Parker as Fire Fighter/Paramedic, at $21.35 an hour

These all took effect  May 1^st.
