Rain or Shine – Citywide Clean-Up Continues

Rain or Shine…  the last two days of Chillicothe’s annual City-Wide Clean-up will be this Wednesday and Saturday.  CMU Operations Manager Casey Johnson says hours will be 8:00 am to Noon and 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

CMU is not picking items up from your home.  You need to bring them to the dump site on Mitchell Avenue or make other arrangements on your own.

As this is a program for the City of Chillicothe, you will be asked to show proof of residency in the city limits by showing a copy of your CMU bill.

Johnson says there are restrictions, including no hazardous materials, no brush, and no batteries, and there is a charge for tires.

You will be responsible for unloading your items.
