Refuse Trucks And Snowflake Lights

The discussion on bids for the CMU Refuse Trucks has been put off until the next meeting of the Chillicothe Board of Public Works.  General Manager Matt Hopper says they are waiting on the final pricing information before they consider their purchasing options.  They expect the Refuse Truck discussion will be on the agenda for the December meeting.

CMU Electric Services Department will work on placing the Snowflake lights on the light poles on Washington Street this Friday.  Hopper says they will wait until after the morning Traffic rush to begin the work which will include taking down the Veteran’s banners and then installing the snowflakes.

Hopper urges those traveling on Washington Street Friday to look for the trucks and the arrow signs.
