A request to waive fees for the remodeling and renovation of the Grand River Multipurpose Center was rejected by the Chillicothe City Council. Director Theresa Sykes made the request to the council
$4,152 building permit fees.
Third Ward Councilwoman Stacey Soper spoke against waiving the fees.
Not comfortable waiving the fee.
So a vote could be taken, a motion was made to waive the fees. The vote was 0-3 with one abstention, and the fees were not waived.
