The dedication and ribbon cutting for a new shelterhouse at the Chillicothe Elementary School was held Monday evening. The event includes chamber members, representatives of the school and school district, and Rotarians. The Chillicothe Rotary Foundation helped with the funding. Chair Lindy Chapman spoke on their behalf.

The idea followed a conversation with the superintendent.
Numerous local residents also contributed to the project.
