Salvation Army Week

This is National Salvation Army Week and Chillicothe Mayor Theresa Kelly has signed a proclamation recognizing the local chapter of the Salvation Army.  Committee member Patti Leatherman says The Salvation Army has been in Chillicothe for 147 years.  Leatherman says there is a lot of activity at the Salvation Army office on a regular basis.

They take care of those that come to the office.

She pointed out the Salvation Army helps in many aspects of people’s lives.

Emotionally, spiritually, with addictions and in need of food.

The Salvation Army is also ready to help in case of natural disasters, flooding, and even following a fire.
