This is School Bus Safety Week in Missouri. Sergeant Shane Hux from the Missouri Highway Patrol reminds us that school bus safety is very important. He says watch for the lights on the buses.
Amber lights mean prepare to stop, Red lights mean STOP.
Hux says the students also need to think about bus safety.
Don’t distract the driver or be unruly and cause problems.
He says the goal is for the bus drivers to safely transport the children to and from the school for daily classes or school activities.
