The Legislative update with Senator Rusty Black had a full house at the Chillicothe Welcome Center. Black took questions from those in attendance. One that received the biggest response from the crowd asked if it is fair that lawmakers can undo what voters approved by voting for a ballot initiative. Black responded.
It is his responsibility to look at and consider changes to laws after listening to both sides.
Black says it is done all the time.
Other topics discussed included Federal funding including Ag and Education, The Blue Shield Bill and funding for law enforcement, Open Enrollment, EMS and 911, and Community Development.
