Sergeant Jake Baucom Attends FBI LEEDA Training

Sergeant Jake Baucom of the Chillicothe Police Department recently attended the FBI LEEDA or Law Enforcement Executive Development Association’s Supervisor Leadership Institute.  The cutting-edge program is for supervisors and middle managers with the goal of enhancing their leadership competencies.

In the program, Sergeant Baucom engaged in personality diagnostics, leadership case studies, mentoring, developing their officers, performance management, risk management, and credibility.

Police Chief Jon Maples says the goal for the department is for the entire leadership team to be successful in completing the FBI LEEDA Trilogy Award through the completion of three courses; The Supervisor Leadership Institute (SLI), Command Leadership Institute (CLI), and the Executive Leadership Institute (ELI).
