State Troopers responded to two single-vehicle crashes on Sunday.
In Livingston County, at about 7:25 pm, a 37-year-old woman from Brookfield was eastbound on US 36 at the Grand River Bridge when her vehicle slid on the roadway and struck a guard rail. She was taken to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries. She was wearing a safety belt.
At about 8:10 pm in Harrison County, Troopers responded to a crash on Missouri 146 near Gillman City, where a 48-year-old Trenton man was eastbound at a high rate of speed and failed to make it through a curve. He over-corrected and crossed the center line, went off the north side of the road and his pick-up overturned, coming to rest on its roof. He was not wearing a safety belt and had minor injuries. He was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital.
