A single-vehicle crash in Caldwell County on Friday left a Gallatin man with serious injuries. State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 10:45 am on Route M, a mile north of Breckenridge. According to the report, the 31-year-old driver was southbound and his pick-up ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and crossed the road, striking an embankment and a tree. The driver was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe for treatment.
