Parking issues at Shaffer Park were brought to the attention of the Chillicothe City Council, when an area resident spoke to them in the public comment portion of the meeting. The woman spoke of narrow streets, limited street parking and possible solutions.
City Administrator Roze Frampton says it is a problem they see at some bigger games.
A good problem, but one they will be looking at.
The overflow parking entrance is past the restroom on the first base side of the park. Frampton says it is usable when it is dry, but it can not be used in wet conditions.
