Sullivan County Public Administrator, 65-year-old Joan Brummitt, of Milan, was arrested and booked in charges of four counts each of alleged financial exploitation of the elderly or disabled and Stealing – $750 or more. Brummitt was released on her own recognizance. The courts have further ordered that she make no transaction on any account and shall not sell or otherwise transfer any asset in two specific cases.
Arraignment is set for December 3rd before Judge Terry Tschannen.
