Trenton Fire Call Wednesday

Trenton firefighters responded to a structure fire Wednesday afternoon at 1200 Laclede Street.  The call came in at about 4:45 pm and arrived to find heavy smoke and fire throughout the building.  The building was an old house that had been converted into a shop and storage building.

The building was a total loss.  The fire crew was on the scene for four hours.

The fire was likely caused by items placed too close to a heater.
