An Illinois truck driver had serious injuries in a crash Tuesday evening in Livingston County. State Troopers investigated the crash that occurred at about 8:00 pm on US 36, a mile east of Chillicothe. According to the report, the westbound semi went off the left side of the road and struck a culvert and embankment, and the truck came to rest in the median. The driver, a 57-year-old man from Orland Park, IL, was taken to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries. He was wearing a safety belt.
