Two single-vehicle crashes in Daviess County on Monday left the drivers with minor injuries.
At about 2:10 pm on US 69 near Altamont, a southbound large truck driven by a 30-year-old man from Green City ran off the west side of the road and overcorrected. The driver went off the east side of the road, and the truck overturned onto the driver’s side. The driver had minor injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
At about 4:58 pm, on Interstate 35 near Winston, a northbound car driven by a 22-year-old man from Shawnee, KS, ran off the east side of the freeway and struck the ground, overturned, and came to rest on its top. The driver was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
