Updated Sales Tax Rates Begin January First

As of January 1^st, purchases in Livingston County will include a new Sales Tax of .375%.  This tax was approved by the voters in August to fund 911 dispatch services in Livingston County.

With the new sales tax, as of January 1^st, taxable purchases in Chillicothe will now include:

State:                 4.225%

City:                   2.50%

County:              1.25%
