A Versailles woman was arrested by Chariton County officers following an investigation into dumping medical waste into a creek. Forty-seven-year-old Shayla Denese Henderson is charged with three counts each of alleged littering and tampering with a water supply. An individual reported finding blue biohazard bags under a bridge, and the bags contained used needles and vials of blood.
Her initial court appearance is set for March 10th in Chariton County Court.
