Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

One hundred thirty calls for service over the weekend were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department.

Saturday,

At 9:25 a.m., Officers were dispatched to juveniles riding minibikes on the street in the 1300 block of Monroe St. Officers responded, located the juveniles and parents, and they were informed of the city ordinance.

At 11:55 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance between juveniles in the 1300 block of Edgewood Dr. Officers responded and located the juveniles.  Parents were contacted to pick up their children. Officers did not discover any physical altercations.

At 4:12 p.m., Officers assisted the Livingston County Sheriff’s deputies with a vehicle and driver that failed to yield to an emergency vehicle south of Chillicothe on U.S. 65 Hwy. The driver was stopped and deputies later made the arrest.

Sunday,

At 3:40 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a road rage incident at W. Bus. 36 Hwy. and Graves St. Officers were informed the incident turned into an assault. Officers took a report, and a 39-year-old male was arrested for assault. He was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center (on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.
