Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

One hundred fifty calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department from Friday to Sunday.

Officers responded to multiple alarms, two non-injury traffic accidents, and several well-being checks. Police are investigating a reported business burglary after an open door was discovered on Walnut Street, along with a fraud complaint involving suspicious tax paperwork.

Arrests included one man for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop early Saturday and another man taken into custody after a domestic assault. Officers also dealt with an intoxicated, unresponsive man who was transported to the hospital, juveniles violating park curfew, and a reported phone scam.

Sunday, police checked on a report of a possible weapon discharge with no evidence found, worked another crash without injuries, and began an investigation into an unattended death.
