More than 150 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department over the weekend. Some of those calls include:
On Friday, officers made one arrest after a disturbance on North Washington Street, taking a 42-year-old man into custody for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Other incidents included reports of harassment, child abuse or neglect, and stealing—all remain under investigation. Officers also handled a minor two-vehicle crash.
Saturday was busy with multiple disturbance calls, particularly along Clay Street, with one case leading to a report and possible charges. Officers also investigated property damage, responded to two non-injury crashes, and made several well-being calls.
On Sunday, officers responded to a domestic disturbance and a property dispute, both verbal in nature. A 23-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant out of Harrison County after turning herself in, later posting bond. Police also handled trespassing complaints and a report of a person in crisis.
