Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

Chillicothe police officers handled 156 calls for service from Friday through Sunday.

On Friday, officers investigated a possible theft, handled a noise complaint involving a reported explosion with no source found, and responded to a person in crisis who was transported for evaluation. Officers also issued warnings for driving in a careless and imprudent manner and for a trespassing incident.

Saturday, police made a DWI arrest after finding an intoxicated driver stopped in the roadway. They also assisted an intoxicated man behind a business by giving him a courtesy ride home and checked on suspicious activity that turned out to be authorized.

Early Sunday, officers made another DWI arrest following a traffic stop and responded to a trespassing complaint. Later, officers handled a report of unattended juveniles, resolving the situation with a parent, and assisted a person in crisis who was taken for treatment.

Officers also conducted routine traffic stops, business checks, and follow-up investigations throughout the weekend.
