Wind Advisory For North Missouri / Burn Advisory For Livingston County

A 24-Hour Burn Advisory is issued for Livingston County Emergency Management, beginning at 6:00 am Friday.  Burning of any type is not recommended due to the expected winds forecast throughout the day.

A Wind Advisory is also issued by the National Weather Service for Friday from Noon to 10:00 pm.  This includes all of North Missouri and is due to south winds from 25 to 35 mph, gusting to 55 mph.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages are possible as a result.
