4-H Sign Ups Begins October 1st

Sign ups for a new year of 4-H begins next week. Shawn Murphy, Livingston County Extension 4-H youth specialist says the first step is to decide on which of the 12 clubs to join in Livingston County. He suggests checking with friends and family that are already in 4-H

Murphy says those already in a 4-H club can switch to a different club if they desire. For those thinking about 4-H for the first time he says it’s not just about agriculture projects and farming.

There are also opportunities for social interaction and to develop leadership skills.

Cost to enroll is $20 for state dues and $1 for county dues. Enrollment runs from October 1st to December 1st.
