The Chillicothe Hornets golf team competed as one of 16 teams in the Class 3 District 4 tournament at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond on Wednesday. The Hornets were in the middle of the pack as a team, placing 9th with a score of 376 on the par 71 course. The two teams qualifying for state are Maryville shooting a 306, and Boonville with a 328.
Individually, Jack Ervin of Pleasant Hill won districts with a 72. Chillicothe’s Nick Radcliff shot a 90, missing out on qualifying for state by 4 strokes. Jameson Marshall scored a 91, Harrison Costner recorded a 96 and Case Stretch tallied a 99 for the Hornets.
